Internship Service Design

Become part of why does robin – the service design unit of why do birds. Design convincing service concepts as an intern in a creative and interdisciplinary team.

About the internship

We believe in transparency and fairness.
We pay €850.00 per month for mandatory internships.
Duration: 3-6 months full-time, as a mandatory internship as part of a degree course.

We currently work mainly with German-speaking clients - so a very good knowledge of German is a prerequisite.

What you bring with you

Do you recognize not only frustration potential in waiting times, forms or hotline menus, but also scope for design? Do you want to not only understand processes, but improve them - from the perspective of the people who use or enable them?

In short:

→ Design is not a look for you, but systemic thinking
→ You enjoy analyzing complex processes, recognizing patterns and deriving strategies from them
→ You can put yourself in other people's shoes - with curiosity, empathy and an open ear
→ You enjoy working in a team and take responsibility for your own tasks
→ You have some experience in applying service design methods
→ You are confident in using presentation tools

What you can expect from us

→ You work with us to get to the bottom of complex service issues and always keep the user's perspective in mind
→ Together with the team, you develop strategic concepts that bring about change - for customers, employees and organizations.
→ You work in an interdisciplinary environment with sound experts, motion designers and software specialists

about us

We consistently place the user's perspective at the center of our work. Our goal: services that are meaningful, understandable and human - and that simplify processes, not complicate them. To make this possible, we rely on interdisciplinary and hybrid work and believe in honest and respectful communication - across all titles.

We are looking forward to getting to know you!
